maison dumoulin nandrin belgique

House Dumoulin Nandrin Belgium

 Location

The house is located in an area of low density with large green spaces and an breathtaking view of 180° on the mountain and woods of the belgian ardennes.
The main route of access, is through the village Nandrin.

 Concept

This house reflects the commitment to the creation of innovative space that asserts clarity, simplicity and elegance.
The house signature is marked by a poetic arrangement of a clear geometric form, the subtle use of natural light, the relation open-closed and outside-inside.
The minimalism volume of the housing is implanted in the beautiful nature of the ardennes reducing it to a white volume coming out of the mountain landscape.
Two themes stand out in the work: the air-light and the relationship with nature. This is evident in the treatment of outdoor spaces. The presence of white to nature for color contrast.
The house is full of light and shadow well agreed and luminous.
In plan, the house is built in two levels due to limited space and budget.
